MAW Monthly Meeting: February

  • 06 Feb 2018
  • 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Kensington Park Library: 4201 Knowles Ave, Kensington, MD 20895

It's our first meeting of 2018, and it's sure be a good one.  If you've ever wanted to learn more about psychedelic mushrooms, then this is the lecture for you as club president William Needham discusses the science behind, and the history of ... 'shrooms.

From Timothy Leary's counter culture movement during the 1960's, to the resurgence of psychedelics in recent years as an effective treatment for depression, addiction and anxiety, this lecture is sure to be informative, entertaining and POPULAR.  You may want to come early to get a good seat; 60's era bell bottoms and platform shoes optional.  Doors open at 6:30.

There are three side effects of acid: enhanced long-term memory, decreased short-term memory, and I forget the third.
