For our February meeting, we have one awesome evening planned.  This month we're going to hear from Suzanne Simard, one of the cameos in the movie Fantastic Fungi, and the author of 'Finding The Mother Tree'.  This is one talk you absolutely don't want to miss!

And as if that weren't enough, we have a fascinating short program planned, where we're going to learn about tardigrades from Dr. William Miller - one of the world's leading experts on these fascinating creatures.  Tardigrades are better known as water bears, and their ability to survive even the most inhospitable environments, i.e. absolute zero, high radiation, extreme drought, etcetera is legendary.
