Last of the series for now: Join MAW for a hands-on workshop to learn how to cultivate your own mushrooms at home! This workshop, taught by MAW member Aaron Hoffman, will take participants through the process of growing mushrooms from spores or live tissue using the agar method, a tried and true method that can be applied to a wide array of mushroom species and scale up production rapidly from a small amount of material. Participants will see the process at all stages, including agar and grain spawn transfers, and mix up their own oyster grow bag. The workshop fee covers materials, and each participant will take home their own oyster mushroom grow bag.

The workshop is capped at 15 members. Given the amount of preparation and material required, cancellations/refunds will only be given up to 7 days before the workshop.
