Hello everyone - MAWDC has organized a joint foray with the Eastern PA Mush Club and the Central PA Mush Club near the Kennett Square mushroom festival next weekend. Please see this event notice re the Kennett Square mushroom festival for additional details and link to a short video.
Kennett Square Pennsylvania has long been the largest commercial producer of mushrooms in the world, and for the past 38 years they've hosted an annual mushroom festival to celebrate our beloved 5th kingdom. All manner of mushroom themed products and food are available at the street fair, as well as exhibits hosted by commercial growers. Our joint foray with the EPM and CPAMC will take place at Ridley Creek State Park, a short distance from the festival, and we'll meet at picnic area 9 at 10:30 am on Saturday September 9th. Here's a link to the park map to aid you in your travels. After the foray it's off to the festival!
