Join MAWDC Foray Chair Mitch Fournet and The Nature Conservancy’s Director of Land Conservation, Deborah Barber in a stroll through the Rachel Carson’s Greenway Trail. Meet at the trailhead and learn about the mushrooms through hands-on experience during the walk, at the same time that you help collect specimens to display the next day during the Mushroom Fair. The walk will focus on basic identification with discussion about the ecology of mushrooms. Please dress for the weather, bring your own reusable water bottle, and be prepared to hike through natural surface trails and uneven ground.
